When needing to select a beneficiary for our Santa Shoebox project, we didn't think twice. Sive Nathi Licensed Home has touched our hearts in more ways than once.
The carers at the home provide 24 hour full time care to 40 children between the ages of 0 - 18 years who are affected by severe disabilities. These children face unimaginable challenges every day, not being able to grow up in the normal family environment. They were all abandoned or their families are not able to take care of them.
The home are dedicated to make the children feel at home and loved. They have set up an impressive program for the children which involves all the elements any neuro-typical child would benefit from as well as the necessary therapeutic requirements needed for each child's individual condition.
Every time we visit the facility we are astounded at the amount of care and love we experience there. Despite minimal resources, there is constant changes and upgrades to make the facility feel like home.
Every December when we visit each child is blessed with a Santa Shoebox filled with necessities as well as some treats. We would like to thank each and every person for their contribution to this initiative.
In Feruary 2020 we were very privileged to be able to again support Sive Nathi Licensed Home in Blacheath. We visited them for a Valentines Day Outreach. Unfortunately because of a few factors we were unable to visit them in December 2019 as we usually do.
Sive Nathi touched our hearts in more ways than one. They provide 24 hour full time care to 40 children between the ages of 0 - 18 years affected by severe disability. Despite facing obstacles every day there is always a smile and a welcoming hug when we visit. Our visits is always a highlight for us and we are truly blessed to know and be affiliated with Sive Nathi Licensed Home.
Life is filled with lots of things that make it all worthwhile, but none is better than your little smile...and what wonderful smiles these children has!!!
