Daniel and Friends Fund recently invited our siblings of the special needs children to a morning out with their parents.

The aim of the morning was to let the siblings spend

some quality time with one or both of their parents, as life can unfortunately get very hectic with a special needs brother or sister.

Sadly we missed a few faces that had to cancel last minute due to not feeling well. But we had such an awesome time with the Yates-Butlers. We haven't seen each other since COVID started, and what a joy it was to catch up. The boys has grown sooo much!! You can be so proud of them.

Our siblings really are wonderful young people, with compassion, love, patience and so much more. They are always supportive of their moms, dads and their special needs brother/sister and they really are an inspiration to us all. We wanted them to know that we see them…and that we appreciate everything they do, even if it is sometimes sacrificing something of themselves, or time with their parents.

Our own children learn so much about love and acceptance by being a part of Daniel and Friends Fund and growing up to learn different is not less.

We can’t wait for the next sibling day!
