We were super excited to be able to attend the Fairview Goat Run 2022 for the fifth year in a row.

Thank you so much to Donald Mouton and his team for always including us in this amazing morning, we are so blessed to be a part of it, and to be one of the beneficiaries of this outstanding event.

This event was superb, the goodie bags absolutely worth it and the lucky draws ensured some fun and laughter.

It was so amazing to have some of our families join in on the fun.

Pic-a-Tee is partnering with The My Story Tribe which every year will choose a hashtag in September highlighting various social awareness campaigns.

This year we support and join forces with @themystorytribe where we are inspiring people to OWN THEIR STORY.

The #ownyourstory campaign is set to excite people to take ownership of their story. We want them to proudly say: This is my story. Iown it. I get to choose. But there is another crucial element to bear in mind when considering our own stories.

Sometimes we don't have a choice. Your dyslexia, your diagnoses, your disability, your broken home, the fact that you've lost a loved one is not your doing.

Our families stories is amazing. They get dealt with syndromes, disability and illness. But they are owning their stories like a boss. They are inspiring us on a daily basis. Be it our sunshine, our rainbows, our superhero's with the strength of a lion, we are proud of our stories.

The road is not always easy, and sometimes there is hard parts - especially one part of the walk is a little challenging ). But it is so much like our stories, our lives. Not always easy, but the hard parts makes us stronger, and at the end oh so worth it.

With this campaign we also celebrate the grit and tenacity of those who keep rewriting their stories in order to influence their narrative to evolve into the most beautiful, inspirational tales! Here's to changing the story, one beautiful child at a time.
