Kindness matters.
Every act of kindness you show can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Living out kindness on a daily basis takes practice, but leads to a lifestyle and mindset shift that implores us to meet the world - and each other — with greater empathy and understanding.
Each year we chose a theme for the goat run at Fairview in collaboration with Pic-a-Tee and The My Story Tribe. This year we chose Bee kind.
Because let's be honest - kindness matters. "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle." — lan MacLaren
Our families are not always going through easy times - sometimes it is hard. Long nights, long hospital stays. Daily struggled we don't know about. Kindness can go a really long way to make things easier. A whatsapp, a quick pop in at the hospital. A cup of coffee. Kindness is giving hope to those who think they are all alone in this world. We promise you - no act of kindness, no matter how small is wasted.
In a world where you can be anything be kind, support where you can and know you are making a massive difference. So let's start a kindness wave. You might just inspire someone else.
To all our families that walked with - we love you so much, we cherish you and we look up to you. You are so amazing.
Donald - there are no words. You are the true definition of living kindness - we appreciate you so much. Thank you for your kind heart, your love for our children, your support and just for who you are. We are so privileged to be a part of this Goat run, and have our own special category - Push Forward for Daniel and Friends Fund. A massive thank you! This is one of the best events every year. Perfectly organised, the goody bags stunning, the lucky draws something you want to win. Die "gees" something else.
