We were super excited to be able to attend the Fairview Goat Run 2021 this morning for the fourth year in a row.

Thank you so much to Donald Mouton and his team for including us in this amazing morning, we are so blessed to be a part of it, and to be one of the beneficiaries of this outstanding event.

This morning was as always superb, the goodie bags absolutely worth it and the lucky draws ensured some fun and laughter.

It was so wonderful to have some of our families join in, having not been able to get together since last year because of COVID regulations.

As a theme for this year, we decided to support the Kindness Wave and the #youcansitwithus campaign.

The Kindness Wave

My Story Tribe has a vision - they encourage people to make kindness, inclusivity and connection part of their story. Everyone wants to feel like they belong, that they are loved and included…. part of a team.

At Daniel and Friends Fund we include everyone. Our Different is Cool project is especially close to our hearts. We believe that even though we all look different on the outside, with different abilities, talents, diagnoses… our hearts are all the same. Wanting the same thing - to be loved, needed and to belong.

Our vision is to create the platform for a more intimate special needs community. Just because you are diagnosed with a syndrome or have a disability, it doesn't make you any less of a person. You just have different abilities.

This is why the #youcansitwithus campaign is so amazing, and we proudly support this.

So how can you join?

Make room, embrace the outsider and make the circle bigger. Be a friend, make new friends. Support kindness and inclusivity. We at Daniel and Friends Fund choose inclusiveness, diversity, we celebrate differences and we love fiercely.
