Lianie le Roux holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science (B Cur) at Stellenbosch University as well as a certificate for Operating Room Technique at the University of Pretoria. She has almost nine years experience in operating room nursing at Mediclinic.
She also has experience in home ventilation nursing and the associated tracheotomy care that goes with it. She currently works at the practice of pediatrician Professor Pieter Fourie.
Her son, Daniel, suffered from the genetic disease Leigh’s syndrome. He sadly passed away in August 2013.
She has a passion to help disabled children and their parents by enriching their lives. In her capacity as a Director, Lianie manages the Project Management Portfolio for the Fund, as well as oversees Social Affairs.
